Yet another project for the Raw: signature show.
Acrylic and spray paints on a 12 by 12 basswood panel, for RAW: signature - The orca is one of the essentially northwestern images, it's endured from native american myth to modern tourism, but their population is ever shrinking and fractured - the idea was to use forms to show the animal in a field of rot and sickly colors, the image however, while fractured remains clear as its environment falls apart.
